The Airbus AS350 B is a single-engine light utility variant of the Eurocopter AS350 helicopter. Its predecessor–originally designed and manufactured in France–was introduced to the market in 1974. The AS350B was designed for international sale and was certified in France on October 27, 1977. Deliveries began the following year in March 1978. One of its variants, the AS350 B3, first flew on March 1, 1997.
